We used Amy to design two living areas for us as we needed to update and repurpose them. She was really patient and listened to how we wanted the rooms the look and feel. She put together some great designs and encouraged us to make brave choices with colour schemes, she was absolutely right, it does look fantastic. Amy’s help proved invaluable in ensuring continuity between tradespeople and she was always available when we ran into issues or when I just couldn’t decide on something. We absolutely can’t recommend Amy enough, the whole process has been so positive and we can’t wait to start showing our new rooms off to our family and friends.
We contacted Amy after searching locally for an interior designer to help us release the potential in our bay fronted 1930s semi-detached house which we were looking to remodel and extend to the side to include a utility room, shower room and a room that could serve as a spare bedroom in the future, as well as replacing the very old upstairs bathroom. Having looked at her other work online, we felt that Amy’s designs were in line with what we were trying to achieve which was to be sympathetic to the house whilst making it more modern and meet future needs. We particularly wanted help with the colour scheme to ensure that the house was cohesive whilst feeling homely and welcoming in every room. When we met Amy she was friendly and professional in equal measure. She listened to our thoughts and expectations and went away to put together a brief which, overall, we were happy with. The exercise helped us to understand what we did not like as much as what we did. Our project is still a work in progress, but we have implemented many of her suggestions. Overall, the experience was very helpful and enjoyable, and has made us really think about things before rushing in and making potentially costly mistakes. From our experience, we would not have any hesitation in recommending Amy to anyone looking for interior design inspiration.
We got in touch with Amy just as we were starting an extension of our semi detached family home and I’m so glad we did. Amy took the time to understand how we envisaged using the spaces we were having built for our growing family and then came up with layouts and concepts for each room. The suggestions were stylish yet practical and all the materials suggested i.e flooring were made with functionality/durability in mind, knowing that we have 2 young children and that was important to us. Amy visited site before electrics were placed and helped with where all the lighting should go and which ways the doors should swing, which really helped as without her input they’d no doubt be in the wrong places!! Would highly recommend making the investment in Amy’s services for anyone undergoing a build project. Building work is so expensive these days and we feel Amy’s fee is money well spent as the overall finish and look, feel and flow wouldn’t have been the same without her input. Huge thanks Amy!
As a Business Coach with an entirely video-based business, my office decor left a lot to be desired. Enter Amy. Amy completely took on board my style preferences and vibe and has turned my office into something - dare I say - very cool. It's bright, funky and entirely on brand. Had I done it myself, I would have certainly messed it up. Can't recommend Amy's services enough. I'm now convincing the husband to let Amy do the rest of the house.
We asked Amy to redesign our small, cramped bathroom, which was very much in need of a refurb. Amy listened to what we wanted and created the perfect bathroom for us at the first time of asking. She designed something we would never have been able to come up with ourselves but that was exactly what we wanted. The only reason I feel as though I can't give Amy the full 5 stars is because of the time it took for us to achieve the end result. We had the odd hiccup along the way and had to wait a long time for contractors due to high demand post covid, which was largely outside Amy's control. In any case, Amy was very responsive and dealt with any issues we had straight away. Now that we have our gorgeous new bathroom, the long road to get there feels like a distant memory, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks to Amy's design and product selection, our bathroom now feels like a normal-sized one, rather than a small one, and also acts as my own little oasis that I can escape to whenever I feel the need.
