Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and booked an extra room for a friend for 1 night the staff on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming. The rooms were immaculate and the bed was so comfy. We booked the buffet breakfast which was fantastic. The only downside was I thought the price of the room was a little bit expensive for a budget hotel but nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again on our next visit
Service at the restaurant is getting worse. I've stayed here for the last 8 years on and off and it's definitely getting worse. They are now trying to tell me the food and drink I order are extra to the meal deal which hasn't been the case for the last 8 years and wasn't 2 weeks ago. Try the other premier Inn up the road. Oh and now they've started taking the TV remote control. You are handed on at check in, they don't work. I went through about 6 backwards and forwards until I found on that worked the TV.. universal they are not.
Situated very close to Oldham Athletic FC, B&Q and Oldham's main hospital so didn't expect a peaceful sleep but glazing so good didn't hear a thing. Room was exactly what we would expect from this chain - clean and comfortable. Staff on Reception were lovely - helpful and friendly. Breakfast taken in the adjacent restaurant, buffet style, so eat as much as you want. Was very busy. It wasn't the best breakfast experience I've had but was ok. No longer a cheap stay. We paid £118 for the room and 2 breakfasts.
