We stayed for a week before and after our daughters wedding @ Owens farm barn in October. We were based in the annexe and it was just perfect for coming and going without disturbing anyone. Karen and Karl made the whole experience so enjoyable and went above and beyond with arrangements on the actual day. I had friends and family staying there too for a couple of nights, and Karen perfectly co ordinated our breakfasts so we could all get ready and was happy for the make up lady to work her magic on us all on the premises! We honestly can't thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend if attending a wedding locally and are not from the local area. Facilities were clean and comfortable and breakfast top notch Tip; I booked a year ahead as soon as wedding date announced.
Very friendly ,clean, spacious rooms . Me and my family stayed overnight after a family wedding at the weekend, Karen the hostess couldn't do enough for us .Lovely breakfast in a friendly dineing room with plenty of choice . .highly recommend laburnum guest House.

Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly hosts. Only 2 slight issues, we couldn't get the bedside lamps to work and as it was 11pm we didn't want to bother the hosts. Also the cooked breakfast was lovely but the sausages were nice but very small. It was slightly above our normal price range but worth it for the peace and quiet and views of the planes overhead
Wonderful, from the friendly welcome from Karen, to departure, refreshed and determined to return ! My single room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a view over the garden and all the little thoughtful extras that make a stay special. Most importantly, my bed was without doubt, the most comfortable I have ever slept in ! Breakfast had options for all tastes and diets and my vegetarian breakfast was perfect. The combined practicalities of ample parking and location make Laburnum Cottage Guest House a perfect touring base and I so wish I could have stayed longer.Thank you again, your help and kindness is much appreciated ????
