We recently used Mark and the team for our building project and I can honestly say, it was an absolute pleasure. Mark is extremely professional in what he does and that shows on his work. I was apprehensive before we started as you hear so many horror stories so finding the right builder was imperative and we definitely found that in Mark and the team. Mark took all the stress away from me and dealt with everything whilst also advising on the project. The workmanship on the build was excellent and the team truly went above and beyond consistently. Every time someone see the build for the first time the first thing they say is ‘wow’ it’s stunning. I recommend Mark to everyone who ask and I will without a doubt use him again. Mark and his team recently completed a single storey extension at the rear of our house. We are delighted with the end product and would definitely recommend them. Mark is very efficient and communicated with us at all stages of the project. The team that he works with were all highly skilled and delivered a high standard of work which made the process a lot less stressful than we had expected. Mark Steeles Developments completed a side and rear extension on my property in 2018 to create a new Kitchen, Utility, Cloakroom and living area. I can not speak highly enough of Mark and his team, despite the work impacting on our kitchen, we found the whole experience to be positive. We used Mark Steeles Developments for a double storey extension at the back of our house. From the outset Mark was professional and courteous and gave us a good vibe which is why we decided to use his company. The building work commenced on time and from that point we saw good progress from start to finish. Mark and his team always turned up when they said they would and we were kept informed of any changes to the schedule... which was very rare. The work was completed to very high standards and no corners were cut. As with all building work, there is some impact on your life but Mark did his utmost to ensure this was kept to a minimum which was much appreciated as we have two very young children. I would highly recommend Mark and his team if you want reliable and honest builders for your project.
I can't recommend Mark and his team highly enough. Last year (2018) he completed a tricky 'over the garage' extension for us and from start to finish the process was excellent. We had to wait a little while for him to fit us in (because it seems he only takes on the amount of work that he can adequately cope with) but the wait was well worth it. The contractors turned up every day without fail at the time they had told us and didn't fail to come back every working day until the project was complete. It is always difficult having builders in your house but we absolutely didn't find that with this team. All Mark's sub contractors were equally professional, courteous and tidy. Every day the site was cleaned and we were never left to cope with dust or builders mess. His whole team also showed a great deal of courtesy to our neighbours and made sure everyone was inconvenienced as little as possible. I am an Architect and I am sure I can be a bit of a pain because I know exactly the quality of build I want. In 32 years of being in the building industry I have never been able to walk round a site (as I did daily when everyone left) and find no issues - the quality was excellent. Mark kept us informed throughout the build and was always available to help with any queries we had We changed our mind a few times and asked for some alterations/extras and these were dealt with without fuss and at a very reasonable cost. I rarely recommend contractors to friends and family but I have done so with Mark already on a number of occasions. We are looking at another project for our house and I wouldn't use anyone else.
